Clutter and Crafting

I have read the books, checked out the blogs, watched the YouTube...and I still have clutter!  I think it is genetic - I am sidetracked.  No matter what I am working on I seem to think of a jillion other things I should be doing.  That leads to a lot of unfinished tasks and CLUTTER.  Getting sidetracked happens in just about every part of my life except when I start playing in my craft room with  Photos - Paper - Embellishments - Ink - Paint - Glue - And all those fun tools used Cut - Punch - Bind and ......I am sure you get the idea.  I love to create.

In my earlier years I sewed and crocheted making garments and home decor. During that time I raised three wonderful children and worked outside the home.  Finding time to pursue my hobbies was a challenge as it is with most moms.  In the back of my mind I dreamed of the day when I could play and create to my heart’s content.  The day came sooner than I thought due to an injury.  I retired early and began exploring all the avenues of creativity while gathering a variety of supplies.  A little paper here, some rubber stamps and ink there, always with a 40% off coupon of course because I am a bargain hunter to the core.

My friends call me eclectic.  I think they mean that I can't settle on one style of home decor or one type of craft.  I always think that when 'I grow up' I will know what I want to do.  In the meantime, I play at every type of craft imaginable. My desire is to be creative, to enjoy the process, and while I would love to say that what I create is art, I don't assume that everyone would think it so.  But that is O.K.
